The PD-6WCL-WH-C Caséta wireless in-wall dimmer provides local and wireless dimming control for compatible 120 V incandescent, halogen, CFL, and LED lighting loads. Its two-wire design requires no neutral connection and supports control through compatible Pico remote controls or the Lutron App when used with a Smart Bridge or Smart Bridge PRO.

Two-wire installation: The PD-6WCL-WH-C wireless in-wall dimmer does not require a neutral connection, supporting installation in compatible two-wire applications.

Compatibility Limitations
- Radio Powr Savr occupancy and vacancy sensors do not work with the Smart Bridge or Smart Bridge PRO.
- A mechanical switch is not specified for multi-location operation with the PD-6WCL. Multi-location diagrams show Pico remote controls and compatible wallbox mounting adapters.
- The dimmer is rated for indoor use only.
- CFL and LED loads must be compatible and rated for 120 V.
- Ganging requires derating for incandescent and halogen loads.
- The wallplate and wallplate adapter are purchased separately.
Does the PD-6WCL-WH-C require a neutral wire?
No. The PD-6WCL-WH-C uses a two-wire installation and does not require a neutral connection.
What lighting loads can this dimmer control?
It controls compatible 120 V incandescent, halogen, CFL, and LED lighting loads. Its maximum capacity is 600 W for incandescent or halogen loads when not ganged and 150 W for compatible CFL or LED loads.
Can the PD-6WCL-WH-C be controlled from multiple locations?

Does the dimmer work with the Lutron App?

Is load capacity reduced when multiple controls share a wallbox?
For incandescent and halogen loads, yes. The maximum capacity is 600 W when not ganged, 500 W at the end of a gang, and 400 W in the middle of a gang. The maximum CFL/LED capacity remains 150 W in the listed configurations.
